Refund Policy & Dues

Determination regarding the suitability of a refund will be discussed in person with either the Operations Director, Iyan Kulendran, or the Managing Director, Earl James. While efforts will be made to reach a fair agreement, any refund is subject to verbal confirmation but cannot be guaranteed.

Liability Waiver for Participation in The Scarborough Alliance House League and Organization Policies

I, hereby, acknowledge that my child (above name) is participating in the Scarborough Alliance House League organized by Northball Academy (the "Program") at the Scarborough Alliance Centre. (the "Facility").

In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Program, I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Northball Academy & the Scarborough Alliance Centre, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, damages, or causes of action arising out of or in connection with my participation in the Program, including but not limited to any injury, illness, or death resulting from my participation.

I understand and acknowledge that participating in the Program involves certain risks, including but not limited to the risk of injury from falls, collisions with other participants, equipment failure, or other causes. I agree to assume all such risks and to be solely responsible for any injury or damage that may occur as a result of my participation in the Program.

I certify that my child is physically fit and has no medical condition that would prevent my participation in the Program. If at any time during their participation in the Program, they feel discomfort or pain, they will immediately stop and inform the instructor or a staff member.

I agree that my child will comply with all rules and regulations of the Program, as well as any instructions provided by the instructor or staff members. I understand that any failure to comply with such rules and regulations may result in their removal from the Program.

Code of Conduct & Program Policy 

By registering for any Northball programs, you acknowledge and agree to uphold a standard of respect toward all coaches, staff, and participants during training sessions. Aggressive, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the premises. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.

Concerns or grievances may be directed to a manager or designated program leader on-site. While children and youth enrolled in programming will not be denied participation, parents/guardians may be asked to wait in the foyer or outside the premises, depending on the circumstances.

I have carefully read and fully understand this Liability Waiver and Release, and I voluntarily and knowingly agree to its terms.

Force Majeure Clause

Northball Athletics shall not be liable for any delay, interruption, or cancellation of program services due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
• Natural disasters (e.g., earthquakes, floods, storms)
• Fires, explosions, or accidents
• War, riots, or civil unrest
• Government actions, mandates, or restrictions
• Epidemics, pandemics, or public health emergencies

In such cases, Northball Academy will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative arrangements such as rescheduled sessions, virtual programs, or future credits. Refunds are not guaranteed and will only be issued at the sole discretion of management if no reasonable alternatives can be provided.

Photography and Social Media Disclaimer Scarborough Alliance House League

I hereby acknowledge that Northball Academy, the organizer of the Scarborough Alliance House League (the "Program"), may take photographs and/or videos of me and my child during participation in the Program.

I agree that Northball Academy may use these photographs and/or videos for promotional or educational purposes, including but not limited to social media posts, brochures, websites, and other marketing materials.

I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Northball Academy, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, damages, or causes of action arising out of or in connection with the use of these photographs and/or videos.

I understand that if I do not want my photograph or video taken or used for any purpose, I must inform the instructor or staff members of the Program in writing before the start of the Program.

I also understand that other participants or spectators may take photographs or videos of me during my participation in the Program and may post them on social media. I agree that Northball Academy is not responsible for any such postings and that I have no expectation of privacy in any photographs or videos taken during my participation in the Program.

I agree to comply with all rules and regulations of the Program, as well as any instructions provided by the instructor or staff members regarding the use of photography or videos.
